Preparation and Setup
Before you start playing, it's important to ensure that the technical aspects won't let you down at a critical moment. Graphics settings and sensitivity are the foundation of stable gameplay.
- Set minimal graphics settings for stable frames.
- Disable mouse acceleration in Windows and in-game.
- Configure a comfortable crosshair through the console or workshop.
format_quoteDo not blindly copy the settings of esports players. Adjust mouse sensitivity to fit your mousepad and grip.
Warm-up and Training
Never enter a ranked match "cold." 10-15 minutes of proper warm-up will significantly increase your hit percentage.
- 5 minutes of shooting at bots.
- 5 minutes on a Deathmatch server.
- Repeating grenade throws on an empty map.
Communication in Match
Information is the main weapon in team play. Learn to provide short and clear information about enemy positions.
format_quoteDo not clutter the air with emotions after dying. State the enemy's position, damage dealt, and mute yourself.
